Nowadays, when energy costs more and more, it is important how we manage using it. Isocell is newsprint recycled into insulating material. If we add different sals / salts to paper and then grind them, we get a very good heat-insulating and sound-proofing material. This storeyed building is made of 80 mm thick log wall. Inside, between the 10 cm bolsters we placed insulation. The internal boarding is 30 mm thick log wall. The house is heated by a cockle stove. The Japan joins - that we applied here - form the best joints. Surface treatment needs to be done as soon as possible, since pine coloration commences already in the first day of the building process. more >>

The homeland of log wall structure wooden houses is Finland. Pine trees by the Arctic Circle grow slowly, their resin content is higher, and their fibre structure is thicker than those of pine trees from the south. So, buildings from Finland are of good quality firstly because of their material. And then there is the Finnish high technology for processing. This wooden house of Kehida was patterned after our building that made a hit in "Construma". It functions as an estate-agency, situated not far from the village's bathing establishment. more >>

It took us a week to construct the 10 houses with 40 quarters. The buildings are situated scattered in the hill-side. Their wall thickness is 40 mm. These wooden maisonnettes are not insulated, because they are in use only from spring to autumn - when the children leave the towns and go to the greenwood, to spend a few weeks in nature. more >>
